Three Classes. One Progressive Training Path.

Our focus is a strong foundation: understanding your responsibilities, asking good questions, and learning in a supportive environment.

Students should plan to bring the following throughout the Journey Academy program: - Your personal firearm, if you own one. Using your own handgun can help you become more familiar and comfortable with the firearm you plan to use. - Do not own a firearm yet? That is OK. You do not need to purchase or own a firearm before beginning Journey Academy. We have firearms available for students to train with during the program. - A pen or pencil for notes and workbook activities. - Your Journey Academy workbook after Class 1. A workbook will be provided to you during Class 1: Foundations and Comfort, and you should bring it with you to Classes 2 and 3.
No prior firearms experience or training is required to begin Journey Academy. Journey Academy is designed as a progressive three-class program. Once you begin, the classes must be fully completed in order: Class 1 — Foundations and Comfort ↓ Class 2 — Maintenance and Muscle Memory ↓ Class 3 — Pistol 1 Live Fire Course Students must successfully complete each class before moving on to the next class in the program.
